WE ARE SNO are one of the world’s largest providers of ski and snowboard instructor training, processing thousands of applications each year for their flagship instructor internship courses which are available in Canada, Japan and Switzerland. Operating in a highly competitive market, and needing to appeal to a diverse global audience of skiing professionals, WE ARE SNO approached Aled George to develop a fresh brand and a range of digital market tools to differentiate them from rivals and to create a resonating message for the ski instructor community to rally behind.
The design incorporated distinctive colour palette, engaging fonts and dynamic logo to form the foundations of their brand and create a unique identity. Stemming from this, we were briefed on the concept design and execution of multiple course brochures which acted as key assets during the internship sales processes. aligning the brand on a digital platform followed shortly after. Their website project included data analysis, user flows and multiple iterations of wireframes to ensure a slick user experience with a customer-centric interface, which continues to work as a key driver of course enquiries.
Quantifying the impact of brand development work can often be difficult, but given our longstanding relationship with WE ARE SNO, we’ve been able to gauge the impact of work and use data to drive future projects. Year on year, internship bookings have increased by over 120%, driven by a 256% increase in website enquiries over the last 24 months. Regular customer feedback continues to provide positive sentiment towards the ever evolving brand, and additional projects are pipelined for the coming year including a mobile application, website enhancements and a refresh to course brochures.
